All airspaces contain the mentioned airports with all landing
aids and all enroute navaids, intersections, GPS-Waypoints and
RNAV/GPS-Routes. Cross country flights between all
airports are possible.
Since publication of the LAS 5.0 the
airspace structure of the LAS
was radically changed. Further information here.
The new structure is not compatible with the old airspaces before 2001.
Germany was redivided and will consist of only 3 parts in the
future.
New: Since publication of the LAS 6.0 the airspaces were extended by all
GPS-data. These are all IFR-intersections, GPS-Waypoints, RNAV-Transitions,
RNAV-SIDs and all GPS-Approaches (stand-alone and overlay).
Same as the airspaces all charts of the airspaces are available by
download. For
the year of the buy a update service by download is included in the price. The price
was lowered.
New: the whole alps same as some highlands were put into the file ALPEN.NAV.
This file comes with the airspaces Germany-South (GER-S), Austria and Switzerland, which
contains the terrain data of nearly 1000 heights (peaks) of the alps and some highlands.
With it nearly every peak in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be collected.
- Germany-Centre (N49° - N52°): (included in the LAS 6.0)
charts by download
The area was extented by the former airspace Germany-SE and encloses now all
radio navigational aids in Germany between the latitudes
N49° and N52°. Beside the enroute beacons that are the following
airports: Allendorf, Altenburg, Bautzen, Bayreuth, Coburg, Cottbus, Cologne-Bonn,
Dortmund, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Frankfurt-Hahn, Gutersloh, Hanau,
Hof-Plauen, Kassel, Leipzig-Halle, Mannheim-Coleman, Mannheim-City, Monchengladbach,
Niederrhein, Paderborn, Saarbrucken, Siegerland, Zweibrucken.
- Germany-North (north of N52°):
charts by download, with update service
This area was also extended to the east and encloses now all airports and
radio navigational aids of the former area Germany North East and therefore
everything in Germany north of the latitude N52°. Beside the enroute beacons
that are the following airports: Barth, Berlin Tegel,
Berlin Schonefeld, Berlin Tempelhof, Braunschweig, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Eggebek, Hamburg,
Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Hannover, Heringsdorf, Hohn, Jever, Kiel, Laage, Lemwerder,
Lubeck, Magdeburg, Munster-Osnabruck, Neubrandenburg, Nordholz, Schwerin-Parchim,
Westerland/Sylt.
- Germany-South (south of N49°):
charts by download, with update service
This area encloses all airports and radio navigational aids south of the latitude N49°.
Beside the enroute beacons that are the following airports: Augsburg, Donaueschingen,
Eggenfelden, Friedrichshafen, Ingolstadt, Karlsruhe, Lahr, Munich, Nurnberg,
Oberpfaffenhofen, Schwabisch Hall, Straubing and Stuttgart.
New: Contains the file ALPEN.NAV with nearly 1000 peaks of the alps and some highlands.
- Austria:
charts by download, with update service
Austria is the first airspace with terrain representation. At airfield in the mountains
many height points of the area around the airport were programmed, to simulate the real
risks of approaching such places (e.g. Innsbruck). This area encloses all airports and
radio navigational aids within Austria. Beside the enroute beacons that are the following
airports: Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz, Salzburg, Vienna, Voslau, Wiener Neustadt.
New: Contains the file ALPEN.NAV with nearly 1000 peaks of the alps and some highlands.
- Switzerland:
charts by download, with update service
Same as at the airspace Austria many height points of the area around the airport were programmed.
This area encloses all airports and radio navigational aids within Switzerland.
Beside the enroute beacons that are the following airports:
Basle-Mulhouse, Bern, Geneva (Genf), Grenchen, Les-Eplatures, Lugano, Sion, St.Gallen (Altenrhein), Zurich.
New: Contains the file ALPEN.NAV with nearly 1000 peaks of the alps and some highlands.
